Products to use: Glitter tapes, Glitter Embossing powders, Glitter pens, Glitter powders, Sparkling Glitter Gems, Glitter pens,Glitter foam sheets etc. You can add as much glitter as you like to glam up your projects.

Card 1:

The first technique is one of the easiest and quickest. This is also a great way to showcase the larger, more elaborate sentiments.

  • Trim a card base and panel from white card stock.
  • Stamp the Special Mini stamp set with embossing ink on a small piece of white card stock. Heat emboss with black sparkle embossing powder.
  • Add glitter tape towards the top of the panel.
  • Pop up the glitter panel and the sentiment panel on foam tape.
  • Add a few sequins for some extra bling.

Card 2:

I love using metallic embossing powders on my projects for some subtle shine. And the Madhubani Borders stamp set is perfect for this technique.

  • Take a piece of black card stock and stamp the borders from the Madhubani Borders stamp set with embossing ink. Heat emboss with a variety of metallic embossing powders.
  • Heat emboss the sentiment from the Let's Party stamp set on a separate strip with gold embossing powder.
  • Pop up both the panels at an angle on the black card base and trim.

Here is a closer look at the card.

Card 3:

Metallic inks are also a great way to add some interest to simple stamped cards. I used the Floral Fantasy stamp set which was the very first stamp by Mudra that I bought. And I still love it as much!

  • Take a piece of white card stock and stamp the base image with blue ink. Stamp the detail image from the Floral Fantasy stamp set with metallic gold ink.
  • Trim a mat from blue paper and emboss with an embossing folder.
  • Stamp the sentiment on a strip of the same blue paper and heat emboss with white embossing powder.
  • Mount the layers on a white card base.

Season's Greetings

Hello Everyone,

Happy Morning. So after celebrating the big festival i.e. "Diwali", We are so excited to celebrate for "Christmas" and "New Year". So I have planned some Christmas Cards to share with you all.

Before starting, I would like to tell you about our new release for the month, if you have not checked clicked below link for new products.

I have made five different cards with different techniques and interactive elements. This post is picture heavy so take your cup of coffee/tea and enjoy today's post.

So, let's get started

1. Heat Embossed Note Cards

Brief info about cards:

  1. I have started cutting a base i.e. of 10" x 5" kraft CS and scored it at 5" to make a 5" x 5" folding card.
  2.  Then I have took one water-colored CS and another a red CS. Rub anti-static powder on both CS so that there won't be any extra sticking embossing powder.
  3. Then on water-color CS, I have stamped smallest snowflakes with versamark and heat embossed using white embossing powder. For another red CS, I have stamped bells with versamark and heat embossed using gold embossing powder.
  4. Now will do some blending using distress oxides to create background on water-color CS. And on red CS, I have stamped sentiment and did heat embossing.
  5. I have cut brown bakers twine, charm and attached to the panels.
  6. Next I have die-cut fluffy cloud and stamped sentiment. And To stamp reindeer, I have took impresso tool (because I want to stamp some bottom of image on cloud and top image on background, so with normal acrylic block you won't be able to achieve crisp image) and stamped 2-3 times, till I didn't get crisp image.
  7. I have gave some shimmery effect on reindeer stamped image, some gold sequins and then attached over gold CS.
  8. Now both panels are ready to attach on folding card.

2. Wild Rose Shaker Card

Brief info about card:

  1. I have started with 5" x 7" cream texture CS and stamping big rose and leaves from stamp set and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.
  2. Colored it with red and green combination pencils from Steadler Luna.
  3. Heat embossed sentiment with gold embossing powder.
  4. Die-cut a frame and made a shaker window.
  5. For shaker elements, I have used clear sequins and completed the shaker card.
  6. Adhered it to landscape top folding card.

3. Slider Card Using Cut3 Dies

So you all know that our new product for this month is "Dies" named "Cut3" and it is time to use it in my card. Before that I want to share some info about dies.

  • All dies are made of good quality of steel.
  • Smooth cutting in one try.
  • Well Packed.
  • Very easy to cut co-ordinate stamp and die.
That's all, I hope you all will love to use this dies in your projects. Now, let's move to my card info.

Brief info about card:
  1. I have started with 5" x 7" water-color CS and did distress oxides blending to create a background.
  2. Die-cut slider using "Cut3 Slider Die". As I am making portrait side folding card so I have die cut it in portrait side so that it will be slide from top.
  3. Sprinkled some water and wipe it with dump cloth. Also splattered some while ink to give effect of snow.
  4. Stamped images on a water-colored CS and colored it with zig clean brush markers.
  5. Die-cut hill border and started adhering the slider part.
  6. I have take smooth white CS and stamped sentiment, made a Pull out tag and also adhered it to top of the CS
  7. Then adhered CS on a back side of a slider part, and on top part of stamped CS, I have adhered colored gift bag stamped image.
  8. Now, Adhered hills using foam tape to give place to move slider stamped image.
  9. Stamp another sentiment on top layer of hill, adhered Santa using glue and also adhered the hill with foam tape on background.
  10. Now, the panel is ready to be attached on folding card.

4. Card in a Box

Brief info about card:

  1. So I have started heat embossing with Christmas Decor Stamp Set.
  2. Once done, I fussy cut all the stamped images, adhered it to an acetate strips and started making card.
  3. So as this is very known interactive card style, I have made the base and adhered pattern paper.
  4. Stamped sentiments and die-cut with circle die and adhered it golden scalloped die-cut.
  5. On a back side of a card, I have heat embossed Christmas tree and sentiment.
  6. Now, adhered all the fussy cut stamped images to the card.
  7. To finish this card, I have adhered some gold stars.

I hope I have inspired you to make some Christmas Cards for your family and friends. Hop on to our monthly challenge#15 and would love to see your entry.
